Paws Privacy Policy
Paws is designed to keep pet profiles and health records in an encrypted vault on your device, without a Paws account or health-record cloud service.
Data on Your Device
Paws stores pet profiles, microchip and primary-vet details, allergies, vaccinations, weights, medications, incidents, vet visits, due dates, costs, and notes in app-private storage. The vault is encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Its key and the local password verifier use device-bound platform secure storage.
App Lock
You may protect the app with a local password and supported device biometrics such as Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint unlock. Biometric matching is performed by the operating system; Majestic Made does not receive biometric data.
Network and Purchases
Paws has no user account, health-record server, cloud database, advertising, analytics, or remote crash-reporting service. RevenueCat and Apple or Google process subscription status and may receive store, product, device, and transaction identifiers needed for billing and restoration. They do not receive your pet records from Paws.
PDF Exports and Sharing
Clinic, insurance, and emergency PDFs are generated on the device. A file leaves Paws only when you invoke export and select a person, app, printer, or storage destination through the operating-system share interface. That destination's privacy practices then apply. The insurance packet contains owner-entered details and is not an insurer form; attach original receipts and requested clinic records separately.
Backups, Deletion, and Recovery
Paws does not run a backup or sync service. This release disables or excludes automatic operating-system backup and device-to-device transfer for its app-private data, so those mechanisms are not a recovery path. Majestic Made cannot recover a lost vault or local password. You can delete records in the app, remove exported files from their destinations, or delete the app and its local data through the operating system. There is no server-side Paws account for us to delete.
Support Messages
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Do not email unredacted pet health records, exported PDFs, payment credentials, or your local password.
